Yes, what we eat and drink on a daily basis directly affects our digestive health. So, besides the obvious about eating slowly and chewing each morsel of food until it becomes liquefied, there’s the common advice to drink more water.
Drinking more water each day can help all body systems but not to the extent you might imagine if you’re trying to clear fecal impaction or find an impacted colon remedy.
Does eating more fiber help? Yes, especially fresh, watery fruits, beans, lentils, flax and chia seeds as well as whole grains such as quinoa and millet.
But, to be honest, doing the above things doesn’t always help the average impacted person clear that out. They need help. Specific help.
While enemas do help and even colon hydrotherapy can hydrate old impacted waste, you need to awaken that waste in order to get the colonics and enemas to remove it. By eating leafy greens, lemons and their juice, this helps to prepare the impaction for removal.
What else can help? An old-fashioned psyllium/cascara sagrada daily drink. I know. Yucky fiber drinks. But, if you want results, then we can’t bypass the obvious old remedies people have relied on for good reasons.
